ETH Oxford welcomes students, developers, and professionals from all backgrounds who are interested in blockchain, Web3, and emerging technologies. You don’t need to be an expert — just bring curiosity and enthusiasm to learn, build, and collaborate.
Not at all. While many participants have experience in crypto or coding, the event is designed to be inclusive for newcomers. Workshops and mentors will guide you through key concepts and tools so you can contribute meaningfully to your team.
The £30 deposit is fully refunded when you check in at the event. It helps us confirm attendance and allocate resources fairly. The fee covers meals, snacks, and access to all hackathon activities across the weekend.
The Gala Dinner is a separate evening celebration — a chance to network, connect with industry leaders, and enjoy a formal dinner in one of Oxford’s historic venues. It’s £80 and non-refundable, as catering and venue costs are fixed in advance.
Absolutely. Many participants choose to do both — the hackathon during the day and the gala dinner as a closing highlight. When registering, simply select both options and the system will generate two tickets under your name.
